U4 (Parent & Tot)

This program is a co-ed parent and tot program at a local grass field in Bedford.  The focus is on keeping children active while learning basic soccer elements. Volunteer coaches will guide the parents and players through fun drills and games.  Balance, basic soccer skills, and how to work and play with their peers are the basis of this program .

Parents will be on the field with their child to learn skills and drills and have lots of fun.

Limited space is available and children will be accepted on a first come basis.

  • Nights – Wednesday or Thursday
  • Time:  6:00 – 7:00 PM

Equipment: All players must wear shin pads. Socks should be worn over the shin pads. Sports shoes suitable for grass and turf are required. Cleats are not necessary. A water bottle, clearly marked with player’s name, should be brought to every session. Snacks are also encouraged. Children may wear a hat but ball caps with stiff brims are not allowed. Parent Volunteers: We need your help! Please volunteer! We are looking for the following volunteers:

  • Head Coach: 2 for each group to cover for vacations, etc.  You provide the leadership for all the parents and kids and quickly move from one drill to another. All drills will be provided for each night. Coaches training will be provided by the Mini Soccer Director.  We also provide an online coaching tool, Bite Sized Coaching
  • Junior Staff Coach: 1 per team
  • Team Coordinator needed
  • U4 Coordinator: We need one person to communicate between the parents and the club.  You will be responsible for team selection, with help from the club.  You will coordinate the end of the year party and distribute any goodies for the kids. More than one person can help with this.

If interested, please contact Club Manager or 222-2216.
