All year long, our members, from the minis to the seniors, are enjoying the great game of soccer. As we enter another exciting season of soccer, we are dependent upon the assistance of volunteers and coaches, on and off the fields, to ensure the continued success of our programs. Bedford Soccer Association has plenty of volunteer opportunities available from coaching to team managers, assisting with tournaments to fundraising events, only to name a few.
Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year. Please take a look at the volunteer descriptions outlined in the Program sections above and see if there might be an opportunity for you.
If you’d like to volunteer, you may notify us at any time. During registration, you can complete the “volunteer” section on the registration form. Or, you may contact Cindy MacDonald, our Club Manager, at Club Manager or at 222-2216.com, for more volunteer information.

For Mini Soccer, U4, U6 and U8, we are looking for the following help:
- Coordinators for each age and night, (e.g. Mon/Wed U6, Tues/Thurs U6, U8B, U8G, U4) to help select the teams, coaches and help distribute equipment.
- Photo coordinators for each group, to communicate the photo night to all parents and to help distribute the photos once they are completed.
- Mini fest / end of year pizza party coordinators for each group, to help prepare for the events, prepare goodie bags and set up the field.
- Equipment coordinator, to help make sure we have enough jerseys in the right colours and correct sizes for each child, and to help get them back at the end of the summer.
- Staff Coordinator, we have a staff of Junior Coaches that help coach our U4, U6 and U8 groups. It is the Mini TD’s responsibility to have the coaches at the field, but we would like a parent to help these coaches find a team to assist with. We also want to have feedback on how these coaches are doing so we can praise the great coaches and give extra help to those who need it.
- Coaches Coordinator, to help the club communicate to all the coaches and to have the coaches communicate with us, the club. This job can be part of the Age Group coordinators position, but it could be a separate position if we have more than enough volunteers.
- U8 Academy coordinator – boys and girls – tournaments, communications, etc.
